Both J Wandoe and Roe are longtime friends who met back in 2006 but have since reconnected via social media and are married parents (not to each other) raising their children in a military setting. Both raised in the south and under minimal guidance, they are doing this parenting thing the best way they know how!
During this collaborative episode, they created a safe space to discuss their views, from their lenses, how and why they made certain decisions and how those choices affect their children. Between them, they are raising 5 amazing children (J Wandoe has 2 daughters, and 1 son aged 12 & 6 and 1. Roe has a daughter and son, 13 & 11).
They understand that parents are not provided a manual on how actually "parent" but learn through being active, being consistent, failures, trial, error, faith, support, and ALL THINGS NECESSARY to be the best possible examples.
Join us for the next 65 or so minutes as we discuss our own upbringing which at times conjures up some emotion and pain. It's the passion that makes this conversation so important and we hope our expressions and our experiences can help someone out there watching to some extent! ❤️🎥
