In this SZN Two segment, we bring on another guest who I connected with through our love of the game of basketball! During my tour in Oxford, England (UK) we were able to share our basketball minds, and he allowed me to assist him and his teams. Now he's assisting me on the podcast!
Coach Leslie Isaac is a coach, trainer, husband, father, friend, a great competitor and is all about love and positivity! He has represented his local club, Oxford Hoops (Operated by our mentor and club creator Franky Marulanda) as a National League youth basketball coach/trainer over the past few years and his winning record reflects his passion, expectations, and attention to details of the game not many are willing to display.
We discuss how he grew up in a football (soccer) environment but did not fare well as a youth in the UK. Once introduced to basketball as an alternative, there was no turning back!
While we are living on different time zones, continents, countries and coach at different age levels, our objectives are to provide guidance to every athlete we are responsible for and ensure that this and the next generation are equipped with the tools they need to succeed on and off the court!
