Many of David’s psalm contain a pattern. He starts with the problem, then he prays, and finally he praises God for solving the problem. At the end of Psalm 56 v. 10-13 David praises the Lord. There are three patterns that you and I can learn:
1. _David praise God for His Word._ David had the Word of God and he depended on it rather than on his feelings or his circumstances. 2. _David praises God for being trustworthy._ Romans 10:17 says _“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. “_ 3. _David praises God for all the help He has given him._ Got delivered his soul from death. God’s past deliverance was the assurance of His Future care and concern. _”Have you not kept my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?_ (v.13).
Praise God before He answers your prayers. Praise Him for His Word, His trustworthiness and His previous help. God delivers us so He can delight in us and direct us that we might bring glory to His name.
