David Serbin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of La Verne (California) in January, 2000. He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Educational Counseling from the University of La Verne. Mr. Serbin worked off and on for several years as a sports stringer for the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin (formerly Pomona Progress Bulletin) while completing his degrees. He currently writes a blog for WordPress.com under the title, “Papa Serbin on Sports”. Mr. Serbin currently resides with his wife of 53 (soon to be 54) years in Northeast Texas. He is a father of three, grandfather to 20, and great-grandfather to 10.
