"As a kid, I remember playing a game with friends called 'Follow the Leader.' One kid would be the leader, and everyone would follow behind that kid and mimicked what the kid leader did. In that game, kids were aware of their surroundings. Nowadays, kids play a different type of game: 'Follow the smartphone and tablet leader'. In this Pass the Note episode, one kid is so hypnotized by her tablet game that she begins to unknowingly follow strangers instead of her parents in a mall setting. She was lost literally and figuratively. Adults also follow strangers through their electronic devices, becoming lost in so many ways. When children are hypnotized by smartphones and tablets, they become unaware of their surroundings; more likely to become lost in their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual environment. Where are they all being led? What are they being led away from?"
