“What’s past is prologue!” These are the infamous words of Shakespeare in The Tempest and they serve to remind us that what has happened in the past sets the stage for what will happen in the future. Never is this more true than in the resurrection of Christ from the tomb on that first Sunday morning! It’s His resurrection that assures our justification and gives certain hope that one day we will be raised to meet Him and forever live in His presence.
