The price of our freedom as Americans was great—the costs were devastating. Today, those freedoms are being fiercely attacked and the liberty we have enjoyed seems frail. The attack on freedom extends beyond the earthly realm and today there is a target placed on the liberty we have in Christ that comes only through faith in Christ. False teachers have spread heretical doctrine that seeks to undermine our standing in Christ. This was happening in Galatia and it was this very issue that prompted Paul’s letter to the Galatian church.
