Dr. Courtney was born in the windy city of Chicago and grew up in beautiful North Carolina. She graduated with a bachelors degree from the University of Maryland and her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. Growing up as an athlete and in a home that was dialed into healthy living in all aspects, she experienced the profound effects of getting regularly adjusted early on and the impact it had on her running career as well as her father experiencing a “medical miracle” with chiropractic care. She now takes care of families in her own practice. She has served on four Chiropractic service trips to El Salvador, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. After an interesting road, she was finally able to open the doors of Connection Health Center, in Charleston, SC in July 2019. When she is not serving her practice members, she loves traveling, working out, going to the beach, cooking, great coffee, and attending seminars.
