Authentic is defined as, "not false or copied; genuine; real," or, "representing one's true nature or beliefs; true to oneself or to the person identified." An authentic person puts the people around them at ease, like a comforting, old friend who welcomes us in and makes us feel at home. Authenticity is everything my friend Britt embodies. Britt is all about saying yes to all things real. In this episode Britt talks about her eating disorder recovery, finding food freedom, embracing self love and the idea of body neutrality. Britt is on a journey of intuitive eating and fueling her body with more whole foods, intuitive exercise through running and moving her body out of self love, and being more open and honest about her mental health and struggles.
