Hey guys!! Welcome back to another episode of the Say Yes To You Podcast. I am still your host - despite taking two weeks off. And that is what I wanted to talk about today. First - why I took two weeks off from my podcast, as well as posting on my Instagram. And second - why it is completely okay and normal for you to do the same thing. To take a break from showing up, if and when that is what your mental health is calling out for you to do. The two main things that have kept me from showing up on social media, for my podcast, and to some extent... for myself and for my life are unfortunately, fear of judgement from others, and seasonal affective disorder. I am not going to get into the nitty gritty on here. So listen in if you want to hear more! As for Instagram... I will be continuing to take a break from @justangmarie and I will be posting on my new, personal page @xoangmarie to maintain my online presence, but give my brain a break from putting so much time and energy into social media for a bit. As for my podcast... I will most likely be putting out an episode every OTHER Friday, for the time being. Through these changes, I hope I can be a source of light, inspiration, and comfort to you - reminding you that it's okay to step back from social media, or whatever it may be, to take some more time to yourself to love yourself, care for yourself, and conserve your energy. Especially during these seasonal changes, political changes, and as Covid continues. Times are tough, and we are all doing the best that we can!!!
