Director & founder of Amour Affairs, Taher Husain believes that one doesn’t have to be great to start, but one has to start to be great. A Pune based international wedding photographer and an entrepreneur, Tahir was fascinated by the idea to create a story around every photograph with his imaginative use of ambience and tactical knowledge of lighting and cinematography. The key to achieve your dream is sheer hard work and passion for what you do. Started out as a hobby, photography slowly became his passion and focused on the art and essence of "freezing a moment in someone's life". He doesn’t shoot what it looks like; he shoots what it feels like and strives to capture the soul of the subject in his work. He has an eye to see the aesthetics in everything ordinary and captures majestic pictures.
Formal qualifications never define an artist’s charisma. However, being a perfectionist Taher wanted to acquire the specialized skills, knowledge and attitude to work in the Animation field.
Apart from being a graduate in Commerce, he has earned his Art Teacher Degree from the School of Art, Pune in 2009 and an Advanced Diploma in Animation & Film Making from Digikore College, Pune in 2010. He further obtained a Digital Photography Diploma from Fergusson College 2011 and has recently been awarded an International Diploma in Advanced Photography from FAD International [Cavendish College, London].
Shortly after Taher shot his first official wedding photography on 14thFeb, 2011, Amour Affair was born. His ability to capture moments filled with unspoken words that can speak volumes about the wedding day as a whole, has fascinated clients round the globe. He wants to expand Amour Affair’s horizon in the near future and continue to explore different perspectives of wedding photography.
