One of the greatest human needs is that of self-revelation. John Donne, the British Poet, coined the famous statement “No man is an island ”. Humanity has the need to reveal their thoughts, emotions, and attitudes to others. We also have the need for others to reveal themselves to us. We are socially designed by a God who is socially loving. We were born into relationships. God made us that way. Most importantly, God is the original, “Self Revelator”.
