I stress the importance of understanding regarding the giving of one's life to God and what it means. You are giving everything for his glory to serve him and not yourselves anymore. You are not to do as the world does, and lead by example. I stress the seriousness of the situation and it's not to be taken likely, as if you confess Jesus as lord and saviour, and don't obey, the consequences can be serious especially losing your inheritance.
