During this episode I spoke to Stephen Cooke who is a former footballer who played for Manchester United, Aston Villa and Bournemouth.
Stephen was a child prodigy and was regarded as one of the best young players around at one point. Making his debut at 17 for Aston Villa and was tipped for great things. Although his career was hampered by injuries he still managed to perform at a decent level.
He is now coaching at Chasetown and Rushall Olympic. He talked openly about how he struggled with his transition away from football.
