Episode 4 features Lt. Cody Burton. Cody graduated from CWU in 2004 with a B.S. in Managerial Economics. After a year of working on an ambulance he returned to CWU to obtain a B.S. in Paramedicine in 2006. Cody is a second-generation firefighter following in his fathers footsteps working for the Yakima Fire Department since 2007. During Cody’s time with the City of Yakima he has held several positions as an ARFF Specialist (Airport Rescue Firefighter), Emergency Medical Technician Instructor, IT Coordinator and has recently been working with others in his Department to establish a PEER Support group. Cody currently holds the rank of Lieutenant where he is currently in charge of an Engine Company and ARFF Company based out of Fire Station 94 adjoined to the Airport in Yakima.
