Description

In this episode, host Galicia Gordon speaks with British Columbia Green MP Paul Manly, who represents the riding of Nanaimo-Ladysmith in the Canadian House of Commons in Ottawa. Before entering politics, Manly worked in the broadcasting and film industries. Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Manly became just the second Green Member of Parliament ever to be elected in Canadian history, after Elizabeth May was elected in a riding also on Vancouver Island in 2011.
Listen in to hear Galicia speak with Paul about his career before politics, the environment, life on Vancouver Island, and his advice to all of you wanting to get involved in politics.
