Episode Notes: One of the greatest honors in a coaches life is to continue a relationship with an athlete they once coached into adulthood. Jamie and I get to sit down with a former Pequot Lakes great, Reid Pierzinski. Jamie was fortunate enough to coach Reid throughout his high school career which culminated with him single handedly winning a Team State Track Championship. Reid is now a "senior" at SDSU where he reflects on coaching, internal motivation, overcoming adversity, and finding his best through intentional living. This one is a gem, Let's Go!
Jamie mentioned some of the great people he coached with in his time at Pequot Lakes and Reid discussed how awesome it was to have such an amazing staff. Many, many people contributed to the success that came as a direct result of the combination of people who influenced it. Thank you to Dave Guenther, Jana Lueck, Jeff Brever, Kathy Allen, Bud Bjornaara, Pat Pfeiffer, Brock Spandl, Chip Taylor and the many other volunteers and parents who gave without consideration of what they might get from it. We are better because of all of you.
