Katie Gibbons Brown has been teaching in Austin ISD for 29 years and is currently in her 21st year at Cowan Elementary teaching 2nd grade. Katie is a product of Austin ISD having attended Pleasant Hill Elementary, Bedicheck MS, and Crockett HS. Mrs. Brown earned her masters in Elementary Education and is a National Board Certified Teacher since 2003.
