Have you ever wondered why no matter how hard you try to break an emotional pattern, you keep falling back into it?

Your most familiar state is your baseline. When push comes to shove, your brain and body will bring you back to that state even if it doesn’t serve you. 

In this episode, I talk about the experience of being anxious, nervous and worried before a big event. This familiar experience happens to most of us when we are doing something for the first time or are doing something that involves high stakes. 

I discuss how I was able to reprogram my subconscious OUT of this state and to teach it to normalise a new state: calm, relaxed & excited. 

The process of changing your state requires you to recognise when you have unconsciously become ADDICTED to a feeling. You may not know it (or admit it), but becoming addicted to a feeling of stress, anxiety or worry can happen when you rehearse it so often. 

In order to change your experience, you must train your brain and body with a NEW normal ‘baseline state.’ This is what it means to overcome that addiction and create a new experience different to your familiar reality.
