In this week’s episode of Real Talk, I have the great pleasure and privilege of recording a second episode with the ever amazing Leon Stensholm.  There isn’t much that Leon isn’t to be honest.  He is a physique coach, sports nutritionist, counsellor, gym owner and author who is about to release his 4th book if you can believe it?!  It was Leon’s suggestion that we discuss morning routines and we ended up linking that with motivation and productivity - turns out that the way you start your day and how REGULARLY you start your day with the same routine (or same elements of routine) is incredibly important when it comes to motivation and productivity.  All too often we start the day high on caffeine in a super reactive and jittery state navigating rush hour traffic and ever overflowing inboxes only to find that we are just as unproductive as the day prior.  When you break it down and look at the common elements between how most people start their day, it truly is no surprise why we find motivation and productivity so challenging.  In this conversation, Leon sheds light on his tried and true routines of over 15 years and why is works for him.  Though you do not need to have the same routine as Leon, it might be helpful to take away what he does and why his routines work for him.  Get ready to take notes and please be sure to follow Leon using the following links; enjoy.
