Begin with an interview with yet another guy named Joe (1:54-54:12). That makes 3 Joes and 1 Joel so we apologize for the confusion and will work on getting someone named Jimmy. Anyway, this Joe is the host of Beer League Official Podcast based out of Chicago giving us plenty to talk about. Matt was on an absolute heater the whole episode as he started with botching the intro not once, but twice and even struggled to spell the word "beer". More on that later. Joe tells us about his podcast then gets into a few stories involving Venmo, gambling and the FBI. Shift the focus to golf and how getting hit in the face by a ball isn't traditionally celebrated as course decorum. Turns out Joe is just like everyone else and orders things when intoxicated, especially sneakers. He then tells us about his bittersweet 2016 World Series experience and the mental and emotional torment the Bears put the city of Chicago through. Finish up with all the hotspots including an interesting thing that happened at the Trump Tower, best/worst places to eat and missing homerun balls at Wrigley Field. Thank you to Joe for joining us and listen to his podcast Beer League Official. The alcohol intake starts becoming more apparent as Clearys Comments (54:17-66:15) fires up considering someone, not going to say any names, couldn't even say Clearys Comments. Its Girl Scout cookie season so we get an update on the hosts diets as of late. Then nose dive into whether cryptocurrency is a pyramid scheme or not followed by discussing how writing for a true crime show would be a dream job which ultimately sparked a debate about the genre non-fiction. Matt stays hot as he limped through the Olympics of Informercials (66:20-77:56) consisting of tearing apart the terrible TV advertisements from the past. Truly find out how stupid and lazy Americans are. This Olympics celebrates the real meaning of open for interpretation and personal preference.
