founder of the polis project, talking about CAA and NRC - India’s new
citizenship laws. These laws offer accelerated citizenship for specific
minorities from specific countries - which might end up fracturing the
“secular” nature of the Indian democracy, and open the door to the
establishment of a theocracy - an idea that that underpins the actions of
India’s ruling party - the BJP.
