I Kings 17:2-3 NKJV
“Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.”
Elijah had just pronounced God’s judgment and told Ahab that there would be no rain in the land. So why then did God tell Elijah to go into hiding?
