Though Jesus is God, He humbled Himself and came to this world as a human being, and not only that he took on the nature of a servant. Jesus didn’t come to this world with the noble birth of a king to rule us and boss us around as earthly kings do. His own kingship was in form of a servant. So Jesus had the mind of a servant.
