The purpose of the Tabernacle on earth was simply to give us a ‘picture’ of the True Tabernacle— the one in Heaven where Jesus (our High Priest) offered his blood for the once for all payment for sin! The book of Hebrews completes our understanding of the Old Testament Tabernacle of Moses.
