The Book of NEHEMIAH (Episode #77)
Some people are called to build businesses. Some are called to build towering skyscrapers. Nehemiah was called to build WALLS. The Walls of Jerusalem. In this 16th book of the Bible, we are brought in on the problem at hand. The holy city of Jerusalem still lay in ruins and very much in danger. No walls and gates to protect the ever increasing flow of Jewish returnees. Nehemiah could have remained in Susa, Persia enjoying the luxuries afforded one in the employ of the King. Instead, Nehemiah answers the call: he journeys to Jerusalem, rallies the Jewish remnant, organizes the task... and restore the walls of his home city. Much to talk about as we walk through the Book of NEHEMIAH!!
