The Books of CHRONICLES (Episode #75):
Covering the 65 Chapters (29 + 36) of 1 and 2 Chronicles in one short podcast is no easy feat-- but we try. The high points of these two books are (at least as far as this podcast is concerned) the lists or 'chronicles' of over 2000 names in the first 12 chapters AND the building of the FIRST TEMPLE by King SOLOMON. Many other events recorded in the chapters as well... but most listeners will be familiar with the verse found in 2 Chronicles 7 (words spoken by God to the audience at the Dedication of the Temple and words spoken to US today: If my people, who are called by name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land' (2 Chronicles 7:14).
