Every breath you take
Julius Caesar, with his dying breath on March 15, 44 B.C., expelled 25 sextillion gas molecules. That’s the number 25 followed by 21 zeroes. The gases that are expelled by every living thing are still floating around. The idea is that, with every breath, you’ve taken in one of Caesar’s gas molecules released on that fateful day. According to the theory, we’ve breathed in gas molecules from Moses, Jesus, Lincoln, Kennedy, Geronimo and your great-great-great-great grandparents. Physicists explain that the earth is the story of gases and we’re breathing in those same gases that formed the earth. We might be able to escape water and land, but we sure can’t escape the air. Remember, everything is connected. Many things really never do go away even if you can’t see them. Just a thought.
