Topic - Kids' Grades Are Contagious.  Grades are “contagious” in high schools.

That makes sense, right?  If your kid’s friends earn strong or poor grades, their academic behavior will influence your kid’s performance.

School success is about more than just smarts.

Students who do well enjoy learning which means they probably have at least average intelligence, are well-organized enough to get their work done, have mastered the basics of time management, are interested in and invested in doing well, and have sufficient foundational skills to handle assignments.

They respect themselves and others.

The people around you influence how you learn and behave. When an inmate is paroled, they are told to stay away from criminals, people who use drugs and their former friends.

Teenagers do not have fully developed brains or enough life experience that allow them to make good decisions.  Having responsible friends can make or break their futures.
