Wasn’t the schools’ testing supposed to explain the situation? It’s their job to explain it to you, it’s not your job to explain it to them.
Some school districts give you a list of their approved evaluators. They can’t restrict you to that list.
They’ll tell you that they’ll pay only a certain amount. There’s nothing in the law that says they can do that, either.
Their attorneys will bully you, but stand your ground. It’s not their kid who’s struggling, it’s yours. Learn your rights and press on.
