Topic - Blood Type and Brain Health.  Your blood type may make you vulnerable to a variety of mental disorders.

Those with O blood type may be at greater risk of depression and intense anxiety. Children with O type are more vulnerable to ADHD.

People with A blood type are prone to obsessive-compulsive disorder and those children, too, are predisposed to ADHD.

Kids with B blood type may be protected from ADHD.

People with the rare AB blood type which is present in less than 10% of the population, have a higher than usual risk of cognitive decline as they age.

This isn’t a done deal.  Reduce stress, stop drinking and smoking, eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly to improve the odds of having a healthy brain later on.

Obviously, many factors impact whether or not someone ends up with an illness, but awareness of these influences can help you manage your family’s risk.
