Crime scene forensics became better known with the Crime Scene Investigation series in two thousand. But it’s an ancient science. The investigator asked all of the workers to lay down their sickles because he observed that blowflies seek out blood. Once the sickles were laid down, the investigator knew the identity of the killer. Forensic science is evolving at a very quick pace. In twenty-fifteen, a chemist discovered that the ridges on a fingerprint release an acid at a predictable rate which allows the police to determine when the prints were made.
