Topic - We hate Mondays as much as Garfield does.

“I hate Mondays”.  Garfield the Cat’s Monday morning misery rings true with us, too.  In a bad mood? Treat yourself to a little something every Monday to rewrite your mental script.  Have problems getting up? Throw open the shades and let the light waken your brain to resist sleepiness.  You’ve been doing at least some relaxing over the weekend, so you’re gonna feel stressed when Monday rolls around.  Calm breathing can help your body. Inhaling and exhaling slowly for 30 seconds will keep your blood pressure and heart rate in check so you don’t feel like you’re crawling out of your skin.  Partied too much on the weekend? Hydrate! Next weekend, have a glass of water after each adult beverage. Did you hit the gym hard? Mild stretching exercises, gentle yoga or a brisk walk will send blood to those sore muscles and they’ll feel better.  You can’t escape Mondays, so make the best of it.
