Topic - Pets help to raise kids to be kinder

Cats won’t put up with your nonsense.  If they don’t like your behavior, they walk away.  Or, they may swat at you and then, take off. Dogs, on the other hand, will let you bang them on the head, and they will still love you.  Children have to learn to be gentle or the cat will go away. Cats understand what humans are saying. They identify certain words, including your name and their name.  As a result, it’s important that kids use kind words around both cats and dogs. Pets make us happier and better adjusted. They make us healthier by reducing our heart rate and giving us a reason to get out there and take that walk every day.  They boost our sense of self-worth. They make us kinder, more attuned to each other, and less fearful. Pet owners are more outgoing. Pets distract us from our everyday woes and worries. Let’s face it, they are the perfect therapist and fitness trainer!
