Topic - Who’s easier to raise, boys or girls?

When parents gather together, there are the child-raising war stories and then, there’s the inevitable discussion around whether or not girls are easier to raise than boys.  This question can’t be answered because there are just way too many factors to count. As for the kid itself, it depends on their temperament and whether or not they have conditions or disabilities of some kind such as ADHD, dyslexia, or autism.  Other variables include their talents and gifts such as intelligence and athletic abilities. Some stages of life are much more challenging than others, so there’s that. And yes, there’s you, parent. You, with your own profile of strengths and weaknesses, disabilities and conditions along with your many stressors.  Finally, there’s how others treat them. Teachers, coaches, family, friends, neighbors and yes, even cops. All kids are tough to raise if you do it right, but the reward is worth the effort.
