Men are twice as likely as women to believe that they’re skilled at deception and the art of getting away with lies. Most skilled liars are good talkers and they tend to tell more lies than other people. Once someone realizes they’re good liars, they do it a lot more. We lie to our family, friends and co-workers a lot more often than our bosses and authority figures. We usually incorporate a bit of truth in each lie and give away as little information as possible. The most talented liars are those who are vague which is a specialty of men. Some men use the “I’m a man of few words” ruse to offer little information, thereby relying on women to “fill-in-the-blanks” and we end up making assumptions. Ladies assume nothing. Make your men tell you the truth.
