Ned Solomon was the Director of Business License in Las Vegas from the late 70's until his retirement in 1995. He witnessed first hand the explosion of a small desert gambling town in the 1940's into the entertainment capitol of the world that it is today. He walked a tight rope between politicians, mobsters, judges, and even the FBI & IRS as he helped shape Las Vegas by guiding some (and roadblocking others...) of the most powerful developers, entrepreneurs, and celebrities through the infamous Clark County bureaucracy. And, he did all that while being a dad, to me and my 4 older siblings. We also get a treat glimpse of my mom, Georgiana, in studio as she sat in on this conversation. Thank you to Cody McNiven for having this conversation with us.
