Phil Nichols has been a ventriloquist for 45 years. His first exposure to ventriloquism was in church in 1969 when I was 5 years old. A missionary named Harvey Wadloe was raising funds for his mission to go to Africa and New Guinea. He was a Ventriloquist and so when he made his dummy speak to me he responded: “Shut up dummy!” Phil was hooked from then on.
