Patrick Douglass, author of Adventures of Gurgle Boy Vol. 1 and Co-contributing author of, Thinking Outside The Plantation, is a courageous and loving young man. He was diagnosed at the age of 3 as mildly MR. His mother (Motivational speaker, author, and poet, Michelle Carter-Douglass) knew differently. During the years of misdiagnoses, Patrick was correctly diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 19; however, it did not define who he truly is; a very talent writer.
