Welcoming back my co-host Tamika Day for more discussion on “The Business of Gaming”. In the last episode we touched on a little about how someone can start streaming, some of the tools they can use in order to have a presence online, and a means of securing yourself when you’re first starting off and don’t necessarily want the backlash of the internet yet. In this episode, we are going to discuss women in the industry and how it has changed from a man’s go-to haven to a place where women can thrive and become successful. It doesn’t come without faults though, with women coming in of course they have faced discrimination, harassment, and sexual assault. Tune in as we discuss how important it is to look past that and start a new venture in the streaming industry.
