In this podcast, my team and I catalogued the experience of 'Ekamma' a young southern girl who attended our school - Dobbie School - free of charge, graduated only to be pregnant for an absentee father. Coming from a poor home, she had high hopes as she wrote her certificate examination. The question is: why is she trapped yet again in the vicious cycle of poverty even after she was given a chance to live a stable life?
