Description

We were joined this week by Professor Bruce Batterson, who has been a business professor at Hastings College since 2013. He shared with us his long journey to find what he truly loves to do. Starting off as a radio broadcaster and being part of a band, he then transitioned to being a municipal bond lawyer, and finally to leaving his mark on the students he teaches. He elaborated on what creativity actually means to him, and how society's definition of creativity can sometimes leave a negative impact on people, especially those that believe they aren't "creative" enough.

Leaving an impact on the world does not necessarily mean that you are part of something big or perform a big act... sometimes all it takes is leaving a positive impact on those you interact with on the daily to hopefully create a ripple effect.
