Description

Based on : John 12:24 (NIV)

Excerpt:

I suspect that this is why Winter also gives us the gift of Lent. The Lenten season always begins in the Winter. One might say that the two are contradictory. However, I believe that Winter and Lent are interdependent. One cannot exist without the other. It is the apparent death-like experience of Winter that lays the foundation for the transformative resurrections created by Lent.
