It’s devastating to ever have to come to terms that a mother would/could be a narcissist. Sometimes it’s undetectable because of years worth of manipulation, the children think it’s part of life... they think it’s “Normal”

It’s anything but. •
To a narcissistic parent, children are to serve their (the parents) needs. Parents who have NPD not only deprive their children of proper love, emotional attachment, and safety... they are depriving them of their identity and their real chance at having happiness. •

2. She makes YOU look crazy
3. She’s a liar in too many ways to count
4. She displays Favoritism
5. She exploits her child(ren)
Children to a narcissist/parent with NPD are more at risk to:
-Developing Narcissistic Personality Disorder
-Developing Codependency issues (both personal and substance abuse)
-Attracting toxic relationships -Forming trauma bonds -Suffering mental, emotional and even physical abuse
-Emotional instability -Develop self sabotaging behaviors
