Leprosy is not just physical but SPIRITUAL. Sin, to miss the mark, effects us in relationship with God, within our selves, and with others. Lent is the season of being MADE CLEAN. We no longer need live apart. We can be cleansed and made whole. Jesus, the Spotless Lamb, washes us clean of sin and guilt through THE CROSS. Lent is the time of living apart no longer. The sacrament of Penance brings cleansing and healing. We can be RESTORED to oneness with God, self, and others. The God of DIVINE MERCY desires all of to be clean.
