Description

On this episode, we focus on X-rays, how they are used, and what kind of analysis can be done with them. X-ray crystallography, X-ray absorbance spectroscopy (XAS), and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) are discussed. Research into rechargeable batteries and how they can be monitored for performance are highlighted. The Mars Curiosity rover and some of the research it has completed using X-rays are also discussed.
