we can easily get in the habit of allowing others into our heads much more than we do ourselves. the fear or resistance to boredom is a huge factor in this. why would I choose to be bored when I could be enjoying interesting videos and tidbits from other peoples brains?
you have interesting thoughts and tidbits. giving ourselves the space to remember how good it feels to take care of ourselves and becoming rooted in our knowledge of why we want to take on some level of work or discomfort is a practice that is invaluable.
