Description

In this study Lessons in Confrontation | Bible Study with Clarence L. Haynes Jr., we will examine what the bible says about confronting a leader if they are in the wrong.

The question of "What do you do when the leader is wrong, is not unheard of. In fact many brothers and sisters struggle with many of these situations in the church. Christians are not immune to conflicts.  As we continue our study of the book of Galatians, we look at Chapter 2:9-15 (NIV). Paul has to confront Cephas (Peter) about his behavior, which demonstrates hypocrisy. This public rebuke was not easy.

Scripture References (NIV): Galatians 2:9-15 John 1:41-42 2 Corinthians 12:9 James 3:1 Matthew 18:15-17

Practical Thoughts:

- Always confront with the word of God, not your own opinion.

- It is not disrespectful to confront a leader.

- God shows no favoritism, wrong is wrong.

 - Follow the 1,2,3 pattern of scripture (Matthew 18:15-17)
