Different ways to Pray to God And When to Pray.
Just like a child who seeks out their parent for guidance and comfort. We can do the same to our heavenly father God. We do this by our prayers. The Bible describes different ways to come to God in prayer. One way to pray is with your hands outstretched. Another way to pray is In your mind singing a tune to him. We can come to him often through out the day.
Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the Lord’s.”
Exodus 9:29 NIV
“May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.”
Psalms 141:2 NIV
“By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.”
Psalms 42:8 NIV
““But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
Matthew 6:5-6 NIV
“So when you pray, you should pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, we pray that your name will always be kept holy.”
