Kristen Wells-Lewis is a Beaumont, Texas native and the 2015 PVAMU Student Humanitarian Award recipient. The award is one of the highest honors PVAMU bestows upon students and community members who display a passion for serving their communities and helping others.
Kristen founder her non-profit organization Unapologetic, Inc. with a mission to cultivate an environment suitable to align individuals’ passion with purpose through service learning.
Her non-profit covers three primary components: Women’s Empowerment, Civic Engagement, and College Readiness. Unapologetic’s primary focus is on the at risk, secondary education, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
